Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. Her other appearances include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. Her studies in theatre took place in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was spent in the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for many years prior to taking on film and television roles. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna was on Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. It was not until the end of the 1990s that she took on the role of The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully in addition to Deadwood was another movie she was a part of. Gunn also took to the stage to play in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. She also had a role in the show Numbered Day, which is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio-based plays. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in the marriage he shares with Skyler can be seen in the show.
